Standard Battle Strategy

This is the default phase-by-phase strategy for Operation: Asgard. Adapt as needed based on enemy movements.

Phase 1: Opening Moves

T-60 to T-50

Secure Sacrificial Stones

**Team A & B:** Prioritize capturing the two Giant Sacrificial Stones on your respective sides of the map. This provides crucial map mobility for later phases. **Team C:** Provide support and cover, intercepting any early enemy pushes.

First Structures (T-58)

Courtyards of Divine Punishment activate. All teams should begin to apply pressure to these structures to start accumulating points. Do not overcommit; the goal is to establish presence.

Buff Structures (T-54)

Amber Springs and Slaughter Towers come online. **Team A** moves to the Slaughter Tower. **Team B** secures the Amber Spring. **Team C** splits to support both teams or continues pressure on Punishment Courtyards.

Role for Unassigned Players

If you are not in a designated team, your role is crucial. Fill gaps in the lines, reinforce contested structures, and call out enemy movements. Prioritize supporting fights at the Slaughter Towers and Amber Springs.

Phase 2: Mid-Game Control

T-50 to T-20

First Boss Wave (T-50)

Bloodcurse Knights spawn. **Team C's** designated boss teams must intercept immediately. The March Speed buff is a huge advantage. **Teams A & B** should increase pressure on Punishment Courtyards to draw enemy attention away from the bosses.

Structure Consolidation

With initial buffs secured, all teams focus on holding the Punishment Courtyards and denying them to the enemy. Use the mobility from Sacrificial Stones to reinforce positions quickly and create number advantages in skirmishes.

Second Boss Wave (T-30)

Bloodslaughter Valkyries spawn. This is a top priority. All available forces from **Team C** should converge. The +15% Damage buff from this boss is a game-changer for the final phase. Consider using **Tyr's Severed Arm** to secure the kill quickly.

Phase 3: Endgame & Victory

T-20 to T-0

Courtyard of Bravery Unlocked (T-20)

This is the primary objective. **All teams** must converge on the center. The point gain from this structure is immense.

Key Skill Usage

To win the decisive first battle at the Courtyard of Bravery, use **Tyr's Severed Arm** or **Oath of the Gods** as your main force engages. The massive damage boost will be critical to securing control.

Final Boss (T-15)

The Shadow Behemoth arrives. Securing this boss is critical. **Team C** leads the attack, but any available high-damage marches from Teams A & B should assist. The shield buff can protect your entire legion while holding the Courtyard of Bravery.

Final Frenzy (T-10)

All points are doubled. Hold the Courtyard of Bravery at all costs. Use defensive skills like **Frost Jotun Barrier** on the courtyard to withstand enemy assaults. **Teams A & B** should form a defensive perimeter, pushing out and denying enemies any last-minute point gains from other structures.

Strategic Advice

Activate this during major team fights, especially when targeting high-defense enemy players or structures. The armor penetration provides a significant damage advantage.

Dwarf Gold Armor

Cooldown: 12m

Increases the Defense of up to 30 Troops within a certain range by 40% for 180 seconds.

Strategic Advice

Activate this before a major clash to significantly boost the survivability of your front-line troops. Excellent for holding choke points or absorbing enemy ultimates.

Oath of the Gods

Cooldown: 15m

Increases the damage dealt by up to 30 Troops within a certain range by 100% and increases your damage received by 50% for 120 seconds.

Strategic Advice

A high-risk, high-reward skill. Use it when you have a clear advantage or need to quickly burn down a high-priority target. Avoid using it when your troops are likely to be focused.

Heimdall's Eye

Cooldown: 5m

Clears the War Fog within a certain range to gain Field of View, lasting 180 seconds.

Strategic Advice

Use this to scout key areas before an advance, check for ambushes, or track enemy movements. Essential for maintaining map awareness.

Rainbow Bridge Leap

Cooldown: 8m

Immediately obtain 5 Legion relocation attempts and reset the relocation cooldown time for all Legion members.

Strategic Advice

A game-changing mobility tool. Use it to rapidly redeploy your entire legion to a different part of the map, either to press an advantage or defend an unexpected attack.

Siege Breaker

Cooldown: 15m

Designate an enemy building to increase the damage received by its garrisoned Troops by 50% for 120 seconds (the effect expires early if the ownership of a neutral building changes).

Strategic Advice

Ideal for breaking tough defenses. Coordinate with your team to focus fire on the designated building right after activation.

Frost Jotun Barrier

Cooldown: 15m

Designate a building occupied by your Tribe to reduce the damage received by its garrisoned Troops by 50% for 120 seconds (the effect expires early if the ownership of a neutral building changes).

Use this on a key structure your team is defending to withstand a major enemy assault and buy time for reinforcements.

Frost of Fenrir

Cooldown: 12m

Reveals stealth Troops within a certain range and slows down up to 30 Troops within the range by 50% for 60 seconds.

Baldr's Vengeance

Cooldown: 12m

Dispels 1 random Legion Skill buffs of up to 30 Troops within a certain range.

Time this carefully to negate a powerful enemy buff like "Tyr's Severed Arm" or "Dwarf Gold Armor" at the start of a crucial engagement.

Randomly expel 3 random enemy Troops from a designated enemy neutral building.

Mimir's Well

Cooldown: 8m

Increases Energy recovery speed of Legion Skills by 100% and reduces skill cooldown by 30% for 300 seconds.

Increases all Troop Attack by 10%. Increases damage dealt to Garrison Troops by 5%.
